Roles we open

Door and Hardware Technician
Service and adjustment across hollow metal, aluminum storefront, and the hardware on both. Closers, exit devices, locksets, hinges, thresholds, strikes.
Installation Technician
New and replacement doors and frames. Frame prep, anchoring, and the squaring work that decides whether the opening still functions in two years.
Fire Door Inspector
Annual inspections and the documentation that goes with them. Suits somebody who is comfortable telling a building manager something they did not want to hear and then writing it down.
Coiling and Sectional Door Technician
Dock work. Springs, tracks, curtains, guides, and rolling steel fire door drop tests. Spring work needs somebody who respects it.
Service Coordinator
Scheduling, vendor portals, insurance documentation, purchase order references, and keeping the register current. More consequential than the title suggests.

Expected

  • A clean driving record and the temperament for a company vehicle with a name on the side.
  • Legible written findings. This is not optional here and it is where most applicants struggle.
  • Willingness to measure before proposing, including when the answer is obvious.
  • Comfort saying no to a customer who wants a shortcut on a rated assembly.
  • Tolerance for after-hours and early-morning work at retail and healthcare sites.
  • Your own hand tools. Specialty tooling and gauges are supplied.

Experience

Trade background matters more than a specific number of years. People have come in from glazing, commercial electrical, millwright work, and locksmithing and been good at this within a season. What does not transfer well is a background where nobody ever wrote anything down.

Applying

Call and ask for Wendell. He does the first conversation himself and it usually lasts fifteen minutes.

There is no online application and no resume portal. If a role is not listed, the honest answer is that we are probably not hiring for it this quarter.
