Privacy Policy

Two kinds of information end up here: a small amount about you, and a considerable amount about your building. This page separates them, because they are held for different reasons and for different lengths of time.

Information about you

Modest, and all of it volunteered on a service call:

  • Name, role at the property, and a reachable number.
  • Service address, suite, and how a technician gets in.
  • Purchase order references and vendor portal credentials where your organisation uses them.
  • Whichever approval chain sits between you and authorising work.

Where a site requires escorted entry or sign-in, our technicians comply with your process. Identification belonging to your staff is never photographed or copied by us.

Information about your building

This is the larger body of material and it deserves its own paragraph. Survey and inspection work generates numbered openings, photographs of doors and labels, measured clearances, hardware schedules, and written deficiencies. It describes property, not people, but taken together it is a detailed picture of how a building is secured and where it is weak.

It is treated as confidential to your organisation, stored under access control, and never used as marketing material. Photographs from your site do not appear on this website or anywhere else.

It is retained rather than discarded because the entire value of a register is that next year's visit appends to it. A copy comes to you on request, in a form another contractor could work from.

Gathered by the website itself

Analytics may log browser, device class, the page that referred you, a coarse geographic region, and which pages were opened. That is aggregate traffic measurement and it is not tied back to a named visitor.

Tracked telephone numbers

A routing number may be shown here instead of the main line so that a call can be attributed to the page that produced it. It rings the same desk. Duration, timestamp, and the originating number may be logged against that attribution.

Should a call be recorded, you are told at the start of it, as the law requires.

Purposes

  • Scoping work and putting the right technician in front of it.
  • Quoting, and getting your approval before anybody starts.
  • Setting and revising scheduling windows.
  • Keeping the opening register current across successive visits.
  • Warranty questions, billing, and tax obligations.
  • Working out which pages generate calls.

None of it is sold. None of it is passed to anybody for their own marketing purposes.

Onward disclosure

The assigned technician, obviously. Where part of a job falls outside what this company does, a referred contractor receives the minimum required to reach you and understand the scope, and you hear about that before it happens rather than after.

Telephony, analytics, and hosting vendors handle material for us under contracts of their own. Disclosure otherwise occurs only where compelled by law or where necessary to bring or defend a claim.

Cookies

Function, measurement, and call attribution. Refuse or clear them in your browser if you prefer. Pages remain fully readable without them, though attribution stops working.

How long things stay

Personal contact details persist while a working relationship does, plus whatever period billing and tax rules impose afterwards. Building records persist longer, deliberately, because their usefulness is cumulative and because inspection history has a compliance value to you that outlives any single job. Ask for them to be closed out and they will be, subject to anything we are legally obliged to keep.

What you can ask for

A copy of what is held. A correction. Deletion, where nothing legal or financial requires retention. An end to non-essential contact. One phone call to (333) 333 333 starts any of those.

Security, and revisions to this page

Sensible administrative and technical safeguards are in place. Nothing attached to the internet is perfectly secure and this page will not pretend otherwise.

Practices change and this text changes with them. Whichever revision date appears at the head of the page is the one in force.
